Hello there! I'm Leja from Slovenia and I'm studying Video and new media at the Academy of fine arts and design in my home town, Ljubljana. I actually graduated from Textile and fashion design but then realised that filming and editing videos is more to my liking than designing clothes.  I prefer short videos, without dialogues, because what appeals to me is the connection between the visual and the audible, the feeling and associations that one can get. I also have quite a few of hobbies; when I have some spare time I make all sorts of illustrations, I actually had a few exhibitions also and I make illustrations for the local magazine. I also love music, I'm an occasional dj in a cultural centre in Ljubljana, Metelkova mesto. I am currently working on my online portfolio, so the knowledge I am sure to get from this program will surely be very helpful.
